Hello; I recently became very interested in my ancestry. According to a search of my ancestry my grandfather James McPhee Sr. was born in Alanson and his father Henry McPhee settled in Alanson in the late 1800s. I have seen that there is a creek named McPhee creek also a street named McPhee St. I would like to visit Alanson in the future and plan to do so maybe this summer. Meanwhile is there additional information about the McPhee family’s contribution to the community that I could find?
